What are the advantages of VITLAB plastic volumetric labware compared to glass?
VITLAB plastic labware is shatter-proof, lighter than glass, and chemically resistant to HF, concentrated bases, and other reagents that attack borosilicate glass. PP labware is autoclavable at 121°C. This makes plastic volumetric labware the preferred choice in labs handling hydrofluoric acid, concentrated alkalis, or high-traffic environments where glassware breakage is a safety and cost concern.
