Recommended for the detection of very fine traces of light-coloured particles and precipitates.Made of pure celluloses and with constriction of black additivesWhite and light-coloured particles can be detected easily by the strong contrast to the black filter paperWeight 95 g/m2Thickness 0,2 mmFiltration speed acc. to Herzberg 850 sFurther sizes on request.
Recommended for identification of substances, clarification of liquids and for the preparation of samples in a broad range of chemical analysis.Creped filter papers have a particularly large surface area and correspondingly shorter filtration timesFor quick separation of large particlesFor reliable clarification of viscous liquids
For use in dismountable filter holders.
DIN 12476. ISO 6556. Erlenmeyer shape. Heavy wall, for vacuum use. With ground 17.5/26 socket for vacuum tubing with 15mm to 18mm external diameter. These filtering flasks fulfil the regulations of the "equipment and product safety regulations".
Can be used in the 250ml capacity dismountable filter holder as a carrier for membrane and paper filters.
Cellulose nitrate (cellulose ester) membrane filters, white with black grid, for colony count and sterility testing, individually, sterile packaged / non-sterile.
Creped, strong when wet, thin. For viscous solutions and emulsions, such as anthracenes, gelatines, paints, thick juices and syrups.
The very low adsorption membranes are hydrophilic, solvent-resistant (pH 3-12) and therefore suitable for the particle removal from solvents.
White, individually sterile packed. Resistant to steam sterilisation up to 134 °C, or in dry heat up to 180 °C. Very low adsorption (important when filtering proteinaceous solutions). Suitable for particle removal and ultracleaning of aqueous solutions, methanol, ethanol, high-grade alcohols and residue analysis of fuels and oils. The extractable content of these filters make up < 1 % of their weight. Other pore sizes and formats available on request.Other patterns are available on request.
Very smooth surface, very strong, with enhanced wet strength. Chemically stable against acids and weak alkalis, especially suited to vacuum and pressure filtration.Other diameters / formats are available on request.

Filter
Filtration is the mechanical separation of small particles or molecules through a filter. For sample preparation and processing of substances, the samples in dissolved or gaseous state are actively pressed through a defined membrane by pressure or suction or passively filtered by gravity (filtration of liquids). The membrane material as well as the pore size define the grade of the filter. The retention capacity of a filter are important characteristics of its separating ability. Glass fiber filters, filtration papers in the form of membrane filters or pleated filters, and syringe filters are common filter types.
