According to ISO 6556 standards. The side arm is suitable to work with 6 mm to 10 mm hose diameters. The Polypropylene side arm has a screw thread connector for easy and safe fitting of the tubing.
Housing MBS. SFCA / CA (Surfactant-free Cellulose Acetate) membrane. For sterile, particle free, ultrapure filtration of small volumes of liquid up to approx. 100 ml. Colour coded and printed for easy membrane and pore size identification. With hydrophilic cellulose acetate membrane for minimum adsorption. Ready-to-use. With female luer-lock inlet, male luer slip outlet.
Syringe filters are suitable for rapid sample filtration and are used in a variety of applications, such as capillary electrophoresis, protein filtration, and UV spectroscopy sample preparation. With female Luer lock inlet. For the ready-to-use filter units, only virgin raw material is used. This ensures that there is no interaction with the sample to be filtered, provided that the units are used properly. The filter units are intended for laboratory use only.Note: If syringes with a volume <10 ml are used, a pressure could be created which exceeds the max. operating pressure (700 kPa/7 bar) of the filter unit.Hydrophilic membrane made of cellulose acetate (CA). Very low protein binding capacity.Housing made of PCOutlet male Luer coneAutoclavable at 121 °C
Made from porcelain with perforated bottoms. They need filter paper for filtering process.
According to ISO 6556 standards. The side arm is suitable to work with 6 mm to 10 mm hose diameters.

Filter
Filtration is the mechanical separation of small particles or molecules through a filter. For sample preparation and processing of substances, the samples in dissolved or gaseous state are actively pressed through a defined membrane by pressure or suction or passively filtered by gravity (filtration of liquids). The membrane material as well as the pore size define the grade of the filter. The retention capacity of a filter are important characteristics of its separating ability. Glass fiber filters, filtration papers in the form of membrane filters or pleated filters, and syringe filters are common filter types.
