The oil-free, dry-compressing vacuum pump works on the principle of a scroll compressor and combines a high pumping speed with a good ultimate vacuum. Ideal for small laboratories as well as applications in research and development. The integrated exhaust valve provides effective protection against a rapid pressure rise in the event of a power failure. Additional system protection is provided by the solenoid inlet valve with delay relay, which isolates the pump from the system and preserve the vacuum inside the system.Powerful, dry-operating alternative to diaphragm pumpsCan be operated horizontally or verticallyCompact design with low weightMax. pump speed of 3 m3/hCarrying handle facilitates transport of the pumpBuild-in manual gas ballastLong maintenance intervals due to oil-free operation, low maintenanceLow vibration and quiet operation

The dry-compressing multi-stage roots vacuum pump was specially developed for applications that require short pump down times, low noise levels, low vibration, and no particulate generation, such as analytical instruments, research laboratories, and light industrial processes. The friction-free operating principle protects its components from any wear, and all components are designed for an operating life of up to five years. During this time, maintenance measures such as replacing seals or changing the oil are not required. The pump is also air-cooled and therefore requires no connection to a water supply for cooling.Integrated castors make it easier to transport the pumpSilencers and integrated acoustic insulation ensure a very low noise levelClean vacuum generation without contaminating the workplace and recipient thanks to the oil-free suction chamber and contact-free rotorsHigh water vapour toleranceManual operation with integrated switchRemote controlled via digital I/O interface from costumer systemComputer-controlled via RS485/MODBUS

Vacuum pumps
Vacuum pumps have a wide range of applications in the laboratory. Depending on the task, diaphragm, rotary vane, piston, scroll and screw pumps are used to generate rough and fine vacuum. Diaphragm pumps can be used for rough vacuum tasks thanks to their oil-free nature. Chemically resistant diaphragm pumps can be used in combination with vacuum gauges and separators as pumping units - especially for rotary evaporators, vacuum drying ovens and concentrators as well as gel dryers.
Rotary vane pumps are used wherever a fine vacuum of 10-3mbar must be achieved. Classic applications here are freeze-drying. Since rotary vane pumps require oil, oil-free screw pumps have recently also taken over this task.
