Universal, Vacuum & Incubation Ovens
Universal ovens (drying ovens), are among the most common large equipment in the laboratory. Drying tasks always exist and the applications are numerous, in research, routine or production. In addition to natural convection, there is also the possibility of circulating air in the interior. Safety devices with overtemperature protection as temperature limiters are mandatory. In addition, temperature selector limiters (TWB) and temperature selector monitors (TWW) are optionally available. Programming and documentation ensure that even the highest demands are met in laboratory operation and industrial process sequences.
Incubators as well as cooled incubators are used for microbiological applications. CO2 incubators allow cell cultivation under laboratory conditions. All incubator types have in common that they carefully approach the desired set temperature and that there is no overshooting of the temperature. A glass inner door ensures that no rapid temperature drop occurs inside when the cabinet door is opened. An infrared sensor on the CO2 incubator allows rapid adjustment of the internal temperature and CO2 level. Temperature and CO2 concentration are microprocessor controlled.
Vacuum drying ovens are used for sensitive samples. Due to the vacuum, fast drying at appropriate temperature is possible. A powerful vacuum system with large suction volumes and high condensate tolerance support the drying process. A door glass window allows visual control of the drying process. The vacuum unit can be installed under the vacuum drying oven by means of a separate cabinet, thus saving space.
