For moisture reduction in desiccators and precision laboratory instruments. The transparent polypropylene dish allows visual inspection of silica gel, which changes in colour from blue to pale pink as it absorbs moisture. The desiccant can be easily regenerated by heating cartridges in an oven at 50°C overnight or at 100°C for 6 hours. Desiccators
Desiccators use desiccant beads/agents to create a dry and stable atmosphere in desiccator vessels or desiccator cabinets. Indicators in the desiccant provide monitoring of the drying process by means of color change. Reuse by regeneration of the drying beads is possible. In addition, accelerated drying can be produced by vacuum pumps in suitable desiccators. The transparent vessels or cabinets allow continuous observation of the drying process.
